Drivers traveling around Grapevine's Main Street and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport will be affected by highway and ramp closures tonight from 8 p.m.–6 a.m. as crews work on the DFW Connector project.
NorthGate Constructors is planning to close westbound Hwy. 114 from Main Street to Hwy. 26 for paving work. Drivers will be detoured to the frontage road.
At the same time, crews will close northbound International Parkway north of the DFW Airport for bridge work. Drivers will be detoured to Texan Trail.
Work on the bridge will also require the closure of southbound Hwy. 121/International Parkway at the westbound Hwy. 114 off-ramp. Drivers will be detoured to Texan Trail.
In addition, crews will close ramps in four sections tonight:
- Westbound Hwy. 114 off-ramp to FM 1709 for bridge work. Drivers will be detoured to Kimball Avenue.
- Westbound Hwy. 114 off-ramp to Main Street for grading work. Drivers will be detoured to William D. Tate Avenue.
- Westbound Hwy. 114 off-ramp to northbound Hwy. 121/southbound International Parkway for grading work. Drivers will be detoured to Texan Trail.
- Northbound International Parkway off-ramp to eastbound Hwy. 114 for grading work. Drivers will be detoured to Texan Trail.
