In the six months that Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine has been open, the restaurant has garnered a loyal weekday lunch crowd. Employees at the nearby medical complex and surrounding technology companies stop in for the $9.95 all-you-can-eat buffet featuring 16 North Indian dishes made with halal meat.

But owners Willie Abraham and Ajay Behl said they are still trying to capture the dinner crowd to whom the restaurant's carefully chosen place settings and revamped interior beckon.

Their hopes are that the new drink menu, with about 20 wines by the bottle and six by the glass as well as 20 beers, will tempt nearby residents in the mood for, say, creamy saag paneer or chicken tikka masala.
