Mattress Made Easy in Leander celebrated its first anniversary Jan. 24, and the store has already expanded beyond its original scope. Owners Michele Chambers and Robert Boudreaux said they have added some key items to the store's inventory.

The store now carries mattresses, headboards, footboards, mattress protectors, pillows and sheets. The store also became authorized by Sealy to sell SBU merchandise, which is new merchandise that retailers were unable to sell as brand new because of damaged packaging or something similar.

"Traffic's been steady. We'd like to see more traffic—especially from Cedar Park and south of here—but not too bad. We've been really happy," Bourdreaux said.
