In the third quarter of this year, construction is slated to begin on Marketplace—a 188-acre retail and shopping center—in Valley Ranch, a spokesperson for developer The Signorelli Co. confirmed via email June 25.
Originally estimated to break ground this summer, Marketplace will include 850,000 square feet of retail space, as previously reported by Community Impact. The project is designed to be a walkable outdoor shopping center with a variety of local and national retailers and dining options.
As of press time June 30, officials with The Signorelli Co. were not ready to announce tenants for the shopping center, the spokesperson said. However, the company is receiving “strong interest from a mix of national retailers,” they added.
