Walmart is building a neighborhood market at 13322 West Airport Blvd., Sugar Land, near the intersection with Eldridge Road. The approximately 44,000-square-feet store is scheduled to open this spring and will be a “small-format” grocery store and pharmacy, about one-fourth the size of an average Walmart Supercenter store, according to a company spokesperson. Health and beauty items, baby and pet supplies, select household goods and online grocery pickup services will also be available. www.walmart.com
