International Leadership of Texas' new high school opens in Richmond this fall

In early March International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) began construction on its new high school. The campus will be located at 20055 Beechnut Road in Richmond and is scheduled to open in August.

The school will serve 1,200-1,400 students in around 90,000 square feet on 10-12 acres. The campus will feature technologies like Chromebook laptops, smartboards and projectors, as well as athletic facilities including a basketball court and a 40-yard turf.

ILTexas is a public charter school network that offers a college preparatory education that focuses on language and leadership. The students must master English, Spanish and Chinese in order to graduate. 972-479-9078. www.iltexasdistrict.org
