Competitive Edge Tutoring will celebrate its one year anniversary on Feb. 1 at 2334 N. Main St., Pearland. Center director Hoa Cao said the center offers tutoring sessions, SAT and ACT preparation courses, and college admissions assistance for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Tutors help with homework and provide related subject material for students. Three to four students in the same age group are combined for the study sessions.
