Daddy Duncan's BBQ will open a permanent location on 2 acres of land across from Four Seasons Park near the intersection of Katy Hockley Cut Off Road and Clay Road. It’s expected to open in spring 2019 and will have a 1,500-square-foot barn for dining, a beer garden, fishing hole and stage for music acts. The restaurant will serve Texas-style barbecue such as brisket, pulled pork and ribs. The business is owned and operated by chef Randy Duncan, and his wife Sylvia, and it started off as a catering company and a food truck. Daddy Duncan's BBQ has won numerous accolades including the both the judge’s top award and the people’s choice award at the 2018 Houston BBQ Throwdown. 713-898-9910. www.daddyduncansbbq.com
