Children’s Learning Adventure, which opened in October at 24130 Hwy. 290, Cypress, is having an open house Saturday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Programming caters to children from six weeks old through elementary school age.
Children experience the curriculum on a rotating schedule, starting in “home room” and moving to seven learning settings: math and science lab, television studio, library, garden center, a miniature city and a professional-grade cooking classroom.
An additional 1,000-square-foot wing touts amenities design for kindergarten through sixth-grade students: bowling lanes, an indoor basketball court, iPads, Xbox Kinect, cooking school, modern dance, a ballet studio and more.
Transportation before and after school is available for the following destinations: Keith Elementary, Swenke Elementary, Lamkin Elementary, Robison Elementary, Arnold Junior High, Spillane Middle, Sampson Elementary, Milsap Elementary, Ault Elementary, Goodson Middle, Hamilton Elementary, Farney Elementary, Salyards Middle, Postma Elementary, Copeland Elementary, Black Elementary, Truitt Middle, Smith Middle, Andre Elementary, Moore Elementary, Matzke Elementary, Labay Middle, Bleyl Middle, Aragon Middle, Hopper Middle, Kahla Middle, Warner Elementary and Christ the Redeemer.
