The University of St. Thomas released the proposed concept for its Conroe campus April 29 with plans to begin a satellite campus in the former police station building, 700 Old Montgomery Road, by fall 2020 with a class of 75 students. The college has plans to expand further with possible developments as enrollment grows over time—potentially in the Deison Technology Park, according to President Richard Ludwick, who said the college is still looking into a few possible locations. The university plans to initially offer an accelerated bachelor's degree in nursing designed to be completed within one year and is looking at offering additional nursing programs at the Conroe campus. 713-522-7911. www.stthom.edu
