A three-story assisted-living facility, Thomas Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care, totaling 62,700 square feet and two memory care units totaling 20,000 square feet, broke ground in April on Thomas Trace Road. The $10 million development will include 50 beds for assisted-living residents and 32 beds for memory care. There will be on-site nurses, on-call physicians, a pharmacy, and physical and speech therapy, as well as amenities such as fishing, walking trails and gardening.
