The University of Houston-Clear Lake Pearland campus, 1200 Pearland Parkway, has received $300,000 in donations from Pearland residents Nizam and Jesmin Meah, university officials said. A gift of $200,000 will go toward providing equipment for training nurses in the nursing simulation lab inside the new Health Sciences and Classroom Building that opens in spring 2019. A naming gift of $100,000 will go toward an extension of UHCL’s Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, which will be located on the first floor of the new building.
