Starting Jan. 13, Johnson Development's Harvest Green, a farm-centric master planned community in Richmond, will host a food truck event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every second Saturday of 2018.

Street Eats Saturdays is Harvest Green's newest project that aims to foster community and provide inventive food options for residents. Food trucks will be parked outside of the Harvest Green model home park at 618 Vineyard Hollow Court where guests can also explore the community farmer's market where produce from the Village Farm will be sold.

“Street Eats Saturdays will be a way to slow down, take a break, have lunch and really connect with your loved ones," said Shay Shafie, general manager of Harvest Green.

Food trucks planned for the Jan. 13 debut of the program include The Grove, CMC Backyard BBQ, Ice n’ Easy, SheCupcakes Bake Shoppe, Foreign Policy, Hangreek, Araguaney & La Boricua and Renegade Kitchen. The lineup will vary each month and will always include eight food trucks. 903-433-2526. www.harvestgreentexas.com
