New Frisco ISD high school under construction in McKinney
Frisco ISD began construction on its 11th high school in July.
Construction on Frisco ISD’s 11th high school is underway at the northwest intersection of Stacy Road and Collin McKinney Parkway in McKinney. Construction on the high school began in July, said Todd Fouche, deputy superintendent of business and operations at FISD. The high school, which has yet to be named, is expected to open in fall 2021 and will serve the east side of the school district. The approximately 388,000-square-foot, two-story school will include two natural grass football-sized fields; softball and baseball fields; a field for marching band; gymnasium; competition gym; auxiliary gym; 600-seat auditorium; and a field for soccer and football practices and middle school games. www.friscoisd.org
