FASST Performance & Fitness is opening at 1605 Hart St., Ste. 180, Southlake. The targeted opening date is early March. Programs will be available to help youth and adult-level athletes prepare for optimal performance and to help individuals reach their personal fitness goals. FASST stands for footwork, agility, speed, strength and technique, owner Willie Pile said. A youth football coach in the Southlake community, Pile previously played for the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs as well as in the Canadian Football League. Renee Yan graduated May 2017 from the University of Texas in Arlington with a degree in journalism, joining Community Impact Newspaper as a reporter in July.
