Freerunning and parkour gym now open in Southlake

Show map
Tempest Freerunning Academy held a grand opening Dec. 2 for its first Texas location at 280 Commerce St., Ste. 100, Southlake. The gym offers freerunning and parkour classes to students, including options for those as young as 4 years old. Although freerunning and parkour have minor stylistic differences, both sports involve traveling from point A to point B, often using obstacles in one's path. The facility includes a spring floor, trampolines, wood structures and an air bag allowing individuals to practice maneuvers safely.
