VariSpace announced Sept. 10 the company's second multitenant enterprise building will be in Southlake, at 1 Kirkwood Blvd. VariSpace is a workspace venture that brings flexible space solutions with first-class amenities in a multitenant office building. The concept is created by office furniture company Varidesk. VariSpace is constructing its first space-as-a-service building in Las Colinas, and with that facility 90% leased, the company has acquired the building that formerly held The Vista at Solana in Southlake to expand there as well, according to a VariSpace news release. VariSpace will outfit the building for multitenant use and furnish it with its own flexible office furniture, according to a news release. “Southlake is the perfect place for VariSpace,” Southlake Mayor Laura Hill said in a statement. “When we envisioned what kind of company would make this space come alive, this is what we had in mind: future-ready and forward-thinking." The campus will be 380,000 square feet. The building underwent a major renovation about 18 months ago, so the company is focusing on converting the facility from single-tenant to multi-tenant use and adding amenities, a Varidesk spokesperson said. An opening date has not been announced. www.varispace.com
