Grapevine's Market on Main celebrated 100 years in October at 337 S. Main St., Grapevine. The building features more than 40 vendors that offer items ranging from fashion to home decor.
The building opened as an automobile store in 1916 as a business venture by entrepreneur John B. Wood. In 1937, son Jim Wood transitioned the store to the Western Auto brand, which operated there until 1992 when grandson Charles Wood gave the historic building a new purpose as an arts and crafts mall. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
Today, Grapevine’s Market on Main is operated by great-grandson David Wood and his wife, Dawn, and their daughter, Nicole. 817-488-7656.
