The Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved Feb. 12 a conditional-use permit for the future Chapa Auto Body Repair, a 5,005-square-foot shop that is planned for 700 Rebel Drive, Kyle.

“I will always support any retail that comes into our city,” said Commissioner Tim McHutchion, a former City Council candidate who was appointed to the planning and zoning commission Jan. 15.

The design of the structure calls for a grey stucco building with a white limestone base. The rear will have a metal finish to accommodate a planned expansion.
