Located at 2701 Airport Hwy. 21, San Marcos, Quail Creek Golf Club will permanently close July 1.

However, the 18th annual Firecracker Golf Tournament Classic is still scheduled to be held at the club July 4. Hosted by the American G.I. Forum of Texas Inc. San Marcos Chapter, the tournament's proceeds will go toward benefiting veterans and scholarships.
