Northwest Austin-based Austin R3 is introducing a new service called Cryoskin Austin that will help patients tone and destroy fat cells, owner Shae Connor said.

Her business, located at 13740 Research Blvd., Bldg. F, Unit 1, Austin, purchased the machine from a company in France. Connor said the Cryoskin machine includes a hand-held wand that can target the treatment to a particular area of the body and it can replace Botox and facials. Austin R3 also offers whole-body croytherapy and NormaTec Compression boot therapy.

Austin R3 is hosting a celebration Aug. 11 from 3-6 p.m. to allow residents to see demonstrations of the machine and ask questions. Food, a photobooth and a raffle will also be available.
