Health-focused restaurant True Food Kitchen announced Jan. 8 that it plans to open its second Austin location at The Domain on Feb. 13.
To prepare for the opening, True Food Kitchen is hosting a job fair to find applicants to staff the restaurant. The fair will take place from Jan. 7-26, excluding Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The restaurant, which also has a location in downtown Austin, serves a seasonal menu of health-conscious appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Meals are offered with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
The 8,000-square-foot space is located at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, Ste. 144, Austin, previously occupied by Blackfinn Ameripub. The restaurant includes indoor and outdoor dining areas and a private dining room. An indoor/outdoor bar will serve fresh-pressed fruit and vegetable juices; cocktails; and local beer and wine.
Restaurateur Sam Fox and Dr. Andrew Weil co-founded True Food Kitchen and opened the first location in Phoenix in 2008. The menu focuses on Weil’s anti-inflammatory diet that highlights wholesome, simple ingredients.
