Be More Pacific opens first brick-and-mortar restaurant in North Austin on Oct. 12

Be More Pacific opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant Oct. 10. The Filipino-American fusion eatery will still use the food truck for special events.

Be More Pacific, a Filipino-American fusion food truck, opens a brick-and-mortar location at 7858 Shoal Creek Blvd., Ste. C, Austin, on Oct. 12. The spot will feature Filipino food that ranges from traditional stews and seafood to American-inspired dishes such as barbecue pork spare ribs. The food truck will continue to operate for special event and catering purposes. In celebration of the grand opening, Be More Pacific will host a "Pig Roast & Pigskin" watch party for the University of Texas versus University of Oklahoma "Red River Rivalry" football game from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 14.
