Chick-fil-A’s Lake Travis location will close its doors in late July for about six weeks of renovations.

The location at 3600 S. RM 620 has been open about 14 years.

When Chick-fil-A Franchise Owner Darryl Zavodny opens the updated restaurant it will include a "vintage heritage" interior design, larger dining room tables and a newly designed centerline kitchen with increased capacity.

There will be an updated drive-thru system with expanded face-to-face ordering, and inside guests will find new finishes including subway tile and large windows as well as a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood and a custom light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles.

Other highlights include an updated two-story interactive indoor play area for children and free Wi-Fi.
