North Star Georgetown to provide housing for 55-plus adults in 2020

This story has been revised. A representative of the owner retracted to an earlier statement in the story that stated the housing would be affordable. The price point for the project has not been released.

North Star Georgetown plans to open its first phase of housing units for active adults 55 years of age and older in June. The new development is located at 2211 Westinghouse Road, Georgetown, off FM 1460, and will have a clubhouse, a pool, a dog park, a covered plaza and a park, among other amenities. The first phase will have approximately 50 units, with a total 210 units when built out. The development will take up 12 acres. North Star will begin accepting applications in the new year. More details will be shared as available.

I am ready to relocate to Georgetown and I am over the age of 55 I am very interested in a 2 bedroom 2 bath home I am very interested in your new development. Please forward information thank you

  1. Please send me information on this property ASAP… I am relocating to Georgetown and will be staying with my daughter and her family until i get my own place. Interested in layout and prices. Thank you!

  2. This is a really good move but it’s not nearly large enough. If there were 5,000 units it would fill up in a matter of months. We need many more of these in the Austin area.
