Custom dessert makers Sugar Mommy’s and Cake Slice plan to move to a new shared location at 1215 S. Austin Ave., Georgetown, pending a rezoning approval by Georgetown City Council. Sugar Mommy’s owner C.J. Bedair said along with the move, the two business will consolidate under the Sugar Mommy’s name. Bedair said the location will offer dessert items to-go as well as custom orders. She said the move could be complete by the end of April. Sugar Mommy’s will move from its location at 1501 Park Lane, Ste. 104, Georgetown, while Cake Slice will move from 1911 N. Austin Ave., Ste. 102, Georgetown.
