North Austin-based Celis Brewery is planning to add a beer garden and live music venue by the end of 2018 at 10001 Metric Blvd., Austin.

The Celis Beer Garden & Live Music Venue will be able to hold larger events.

“In the 1990s, Celis Brewery was well-known for hosting huge concerts with some of the best bands in Austin,” founder Christine Celis said in a news release. “We are reviving that part of our heritage with the opening of this incredible Beer Garden & Live Music Venue and plan to host more than 50 concerts and events here in 2019. We are also going to reintroduce our annual Celis Fest as well."

The outdoor area will include a mobile stage that will allow Celis to customize events, a dog-friendly patio with seating, food trucks, pop-up shops and an outdoor bar featuring beer from Celis, Uncle Billy's Brewery and Pedernales Brewing Co.
