The districtu2019s last bond referendum was approved by voters in 2007. The majority of the $280 million bond package was used to build six new elementary schools and to purchase land for future use by the district.

Goodwater Montessori School will open in Williamson County in August 2017, although a location has not been selected. The school received its final approval from the State Board of Education in July. Goodwater plans to offer tuition-free public education in mixed-age classrooms with low studentteacher ratios and will serve children ages 3-12 in its first year. www.goodwatermontessori.org
