Lewisville voters on May 1 will decide the fate of four city charter amendments. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Proposition A would add another seat to the City Council, bringing the total up to six, and would change the number of council members that must be present to constitute a quorum. The measure, if passed, is tied to the proposed annexation of the Castle Hills community later this year.
Proposition B would make the city’s budget deadlines the same as those used by the state, effectively simplifying the process.
Proposition C would make it so that members of the Lewisville Planning and Zoning Commission are no longer required to own property in Lewisville.
