If elected, what would your priorities be for the future of Texas education?

Texas education is a top priority of mine. I’ve seen how underfunding hurts classrooms, teachers, and families. I’ll fight for higher teacher pay, stronger pre-K, and better special education and mental health supports. Texas must fully fund our public schools so campuses are not forced to cut programs or close.

How will you ensure your constituents are able to receive the appropriate aid after natural disasters?

The state must respond quickly and clearly after disasters. With my government experience, I know how to get resources where they are needed. I’ll work to speed up aid, improve coordination, and strengthen response to floods, grid failures, and wildfires while supporting prevention through wildfire mitigation and infrastructure upgrades.

What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?

The legislature should focus on the basics Texans depend on: fully funding our public schools, fixing the grid, protecting our water, and preventing disasters. It also means making housing and healthcare more affordable. That is what I hear across the district and what I will fight for at the Capitol.
