Austin-based mobile mindfulness studio PeaceBox selected Westlake High School as the first recipient of its Summer of Giving program. The program's main objective was to match every PeaceBox visit that was booked at a corporate location with a "PeaceDay" at a local school. On Oct. 2, PeaceBox traveled to Westlake High School and delivered PeaceDay, sponsored by Hyatt Regency Austin and South by Southwest Conferences & Festivals. During the event, Westlake teachers and students used the mobile studio and experienced guided mindfulness practices.
