During its April 9 meeting, the Rollingwood Community Development Corp. reserved $100,000 to help local businesses in need of assistance amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The cash relief grants allocated through the COVID-19 Relief Program will provide up to $10,000 per qualifying business.
"These grants will help local businesses retain the employees and resources needed to survive during these trying times," City Administrator Amber Lewis said in an email and added the grants will be made available pending final approval of the RCDC board of directors and City Council.
Grants will be provided only to businesses within Rollingwood's city limits. Pending approval by City Council, which will likely vote on the program during its April 15 meeting, information from the city states applications and supporting information are due to the RCDC before noon April 23.
