A new meat market is slated to open in Southwest Austin this summer.
The overview
Southern Steer Butcher will open a second Texas location in Oak Hill in late July or early August. The Florida-based butcher shop first opened in Lakeway last year.
The new location will be near Shore Raw Bar & Grill. According to its website, Southern Steer Butcher offers premium meat cuts, sides, seasonings, sauces, desserts and more.
