The former Icon Hospital, located at 19211 McKay Drive, Humble, was acquired May 15 by SE Texas ER & Hospital, which held a grand opening June 26. The 44-bed hospital offers emergency care for adults and children, trauma/acute care, cardiology, outpatient services, imaging and diagnostics services, therapy services, respiratory care and wound care. Rhonda Burd, director of business development for SE Texas ER & Hospital, said the hospital is seeking a Level III trauma designation, which would allow the facility to offer advanced trauma care. 281-883-5500.
