See which Houston-area schools are closed May 3 due to flooding

Amid flash flooding in Montgomery County and parts of Harris County, school districts across the north Houston area have canceled after-school activities and announced closures for May 3.

Districts that will be closed May 3 include:

• Conroe ISD, which also canceled all after-school activities, excluding high school UIL playoffs, for May 2
• Humble ISD, which also canceled after-school activities for May 2
• Magnolia ISD
• Montgomery ISD, which also canceled in-district activities for May 3
• New Caney ISD, which also postponed extracurricular activities for May 2-3
• Willis ISD

Districts that have canceled May 2 after-school or after-care activities include:

• Aldine ISD
• Klein ISD
• Spring ISD
• Tomball ISD

Lone Star College announced the following campuses will be closed on May 3:

• LSC-Atascocita Center
• LSC-Conroe Center
• LSC-Creekside Center
• LSC-East Aldine Center
• LSC-Health Science Center
• Kingwood Main Campus
• LSC-Montgomery Main Campus
• LSC-Process Technology Center
• LSC-System Office The Woodlands
• LSC-Tomball Main Campus
• LSC-University Center The Woodlands

Sam Houston State University announced its Huntsville campus and The Woodlands Center will be closed May 3. The Conroe-area College of Osteopathic Medicine will be open May 3.
