Parents will be able to make new memories soon at The Parks at Town Center near The Keller Pointe, as crews are working to replace a playground there, according to Keller city officials on a social media post. The park is located at 1100 Bear Creek Parkway.

The $150,000 playground project will feature three play areas, multiple slides and shade canopies. Money for the project comes from the Keller Development Corporation, which receives a half-cent of the community's sales tax revenue to use exclusively on park and recreation capital projects according to city officials. Because of upcoming weather impacts, officials expect construction to finish in February and be ready for the public then, said Rachel Reynolds, communication and public engagement manager for the city.
