After tabling consideration of two potentially surplus properties in early October, Plano ISD officials took the next step toward selling them.
The board of trustees unanimously approved declaring two properties surplus—one used as staff offices and another undeveloped tract—during the Oct. 27 work session.
What to know
The first property includes two suites within the Pebble Creek Professional Building, which is located along Coit Road near Pebblecreek Court. The district previously acquired the property for $1.75 million in 2005, according to district documents.
The suites have most recently been used as temporary offices for around 20 PISD staff members. Johnny Hill, PISD’s deputy superintendent for business, employee services and technology, said during the Oct. 6 meeting that the district has room to accommodate the staff at other facilities.
