An apartment complex near Tanger Outlets Fort Worth had changes approved due to a new developer taking charge of the project.
That, along with an engineering contract up for consideration for a park in north Fort Worth, were items approved at the June 9 City Council meeting.

Property owner Roanoke 35/114 Partners, LP submitted specific plan changes to a previously approved apartment complex at 15801 Championship Parkway.
In April 2025, Fort Worth City Council approved a plan for 238 apartments and 55 build-for-rent cottage homes on 17.12 acres from LIV Development, according to previous reporting.
During the June 9 meeting, Cerco Development, Inc. submitted a request to remove all of the cottage homes approve plans for 396 apartments. However, there will be a decrease in actual bedrooms from 636 to 534, according to city documents.
Another change approved was limiting the apartment buildings to three stories. The previously approved request had a variation of three stories and four stories.
According to documents submitted to the council, there will be 10 apartment buildings. The complex will feature a maintenance building, a clubhouse and a cabana near an activated amenity area.
The development also features a co-working space in the clubhouse, a fitness center and a dog park.

Council members approved an engineering contract with design consulting firm Kimley-Horn for work on four parks in Fort Worth, including Kristi Jean Burbach Park, located at 3529 Fossil Park Drive in Council District 4.
The Kristi Jean Burbach Park work accounts for $274,258 of the $1.43 million contract, according to city documents.
The design portion will feature improvements to walking trails, pavilions, playgrounds, lighting and site furniture. After design work is completed, the city will go out for construction bids, according to city documents.
Kristi Jean Burbach Park opened in 1984 and was originally named Fossil Park. It was rededicated in 1997 after the Summerfield Neighborhood Association gathered 1,110 signatures to rename it for 14-year-old Kristi Jean Burbach, who died of meningococcemia, according to the city's website.
According to previous reporting, Burbach Park was slated to get new playground equipment in 2024.
