A family-owned and operated dog daycare center in north Fort Worth recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.

Hounds Town offers dog daycare, dog and cat boarding, pet spa and pet taxi services, Fort Worth owner Melissa Pittman said. The location in north Fort Worth first opened February 2025, she said.
The business started in 2000 and was founded by a former New York Police Department canine handler, according to its website. The first Hounds Town opened in Port Jefferson on Long Island in New York and is now close to opening 100 locations across the U.S.
