New Caney-based restaurant Airi Ramen and Sushi will open two locations this year in Katy and the Jordan Ranch community.

The Asian restaurant serves Japanese-style ramen, sushi, poke bowls, bao and some Chinese food, owner Leo Cai said in an email. All bases for the ramen as well as the noodles are made from scratch by the restaurant’s staff.
The locations will open in two Katy-area shopping centers. The first will open in The Market at Katy Park, with Crust Pizza Co. being another incoming tenant. The second Airi Ramen and Sushi will open in the Shops at Jordan Crossing development.
