The project spans an area from south of Rolling Glen Lane to north of Ezekiel Road and will include heightened safety measures, expanded vehicular capacity, improved pedestrian mobility and optimized drainage efficiency along Segment 2, according to officials.
According to previous reporting from Community Impact, the project was scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2023; however, as of Jan. 11, Harris County officials said construction would begin in the first quarter of 2024.
