The Texas Department of Transportation announced that northbound and southbound lanes of FM 1486 will be closed between Jackson and Sandy Hill roads from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 30-31. Detour signs will be posted. The road closure is subject to change due to weather.
Drivers can detour by following the routes outlined in the Facebook post below.
The closure comes as construction progresses for the Hwy. 249 toll road extension from Tomball through Montgomery and Grimes counties.
