According to the Houston Tran Star database and Texas Department of Transportation, several lane closures around the Tomball and Magnolia area are planned this weekend, Feb. 21-23.

• Hwy. 249 northbound between Rollingwood Street and Baltzell Drive in Pinehurst is closed daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, to Sunday, Feb. 23. Detour signs will be posted. Hwy. 249 northbound will also be closed at Rollingwood Street nightly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, through Wednesday, Feb. 26.
• One inside lane of the Hwy. 249 northbound frontage road between Medical Complex Drive and Hirschfield Road is closed Saturday, Feb. 22, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m . This portion will be closed again Monday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• One outside lane of FM 2978 northbound and southbound between Bogs and Stanolind roads to Dobbin Hufsmith Road is closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.
