District 3 covers portions of Montgomery County. The seat is currently held by Rep. Cecil Bell Jr., R-Magnolia, who began serving in the position in 2013.

What would your top priorities be if elected?
My priorities are focused on affordability, strong public schools, disaster preparedness, and support for small businesses. I will work to make housing, utilities, insurance and everyday life more affordable; invest in public education; improve emergency preparedness for individuals and advance practical policies that help local businesses grow.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Rapid population growth is placing significant demand on local infrastructure, leading to increased traffic and safety considerations across our community. Concurrently, fluctuations in property appraisals present financial uncertainty for District 3 families. Coupled with rising insurance premiums and rent, managing everyday household budgets has become increasingly challenging.
What are your priorities for the future of Texas education?
Well-funded public schools are the foundation of our communities. Texas should deliver reliable funding, support educators, and ensure student safety. If public funds support private education, those programs require transparency and accountability and must never strip resources from the public schools that serve most Texas kids.
What will you do to support small businesses and promote economic growth in Texas?<br><br>
Small businesses are the heartbeat of District 3. Growing up in a family business, I understand the everyday hurdles owners face. I will advocate to cut red tape, expand workforce training, and level the playing field with accessible incentives so local businesses can compete, thrive, and create good jobs.
