Texas Department of Transportation crews are working on a project to widen FM 1774 from the Grimes County line to west of FM 1486. The project was 75% complete as of mid-January and is on track to be complete in the third quarter of 2020, TxDOT Public Information Officer Emily Black said.

Timeline: July 2018-third quarter 2020

Cost: $19.5 million
