Tomball Regional Medical Center announced the appointment of Ryan Henry as its chief operating officer Monday. Henry began serving in the role May 1, according to the medical center. "I am confident Ryan will bring the right mix of operational experience and strategy to his new role here at Tomball Regional Medical Center," TRMC Chief Executive Eric Evans said in a statement. "We have an exceptionally talented and caring team here, and Ryan's guidance will help us extend that care further into the Tomball community." Henry formerly worked as associate administrator at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, which is part of HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division's network of hospitals. TRMC was acquired by HCA last summer and is also part of the Gulf Coast Division's hospital network. Henry is a graduate of Trinity University and Leadership League City as well as a member of the HCA Executive Development Program's class of 2018. "I am honored to join Tomball Regional Medical Center to collaborate and serve with such an outstanding group of leaders, staff and physicians," Henry said in a statement. "I'm excited for the opportunity to build upon the great care and service that Tomball Regional Medical Center provides to our patients and community." TRMC named Evans as CEO in December.
