Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital’s emergency care center in Magnolia opened Feb. 22, said Stefanie Peeler, the senior communications specialist for the hospital, via email.
The center, located within the Magnolia Landmark Building at 18230 FM 1488, Ste. 101, Magnolia, offers emergency care services as well as imaging services, such as CT scans and X-rays, Peeler said.
“With the expansion of Hwy. 249, Magnolia continues to grow and is a key submarket for Houston Methodist and our strategic growth plans,” said Zachary Armitage—the emergency care center director for the Spring, Cypress and Magnolia centers—via email. “This expansion into Magnolia will provide area residents with convenient access to hospital services with both Willowbrook to the south and The Woodlands to the east.”
Open 24/7, the center is 11,396 square feet, has six beds and can treat up to seven patients simultaneously, Peeler said.
