Chicks & Hogs: BBQ & Brew-Fest

Family Promise Lake Houston is holding a festival featuring a barbecue competition, rodeo obstacle relay, beer tastings, a live animal exhibition, live music, child-friendly activities, an auction and local vendors. Proceeds from the event will help local people experiencing homelessness.

Ride 'n' Vibe CarShow: Lil Jesse Day

Support childhood cancer awareness via this event at The Food Zone Grand Texas. A toy drive to benefit children with cancer will take place. A car show, live music and prizes will also be featured. Register in advance here.

Dancing Through the Decades

New Caney New Horizons is hosting its annual fundraiser ball, which will feature dancing, dinner, auctions and door prizes. The organization helps people with developmental disabilities to improve career and life skills.

Waterbark Day

Dogs are welcome to enjoy water park activities during this event at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures. Shallow play areas, dog-only splash zones, treat stations and photo opportunities will be featured. Dogs of all sizes are welcome, but owners must have proof of vaccination for their pets.
