HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball appoints new chief operating officer

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball appointed Adrian Moreno as its new chief operating officer, a Dec. 7 press release from the hospital said. Moreno previously worked as the assistant chief operating officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, leading expansion projects for the hospital and increasing bed capacity, the release said.

Between 2018 and 2020, Moreno served as division director of project management with HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division, monitoring the development and implementation of the division’s priorities. Moreno worked for Ernst and Young, a professional services company, as a performance improvement manager for six years prior to that, the release said.


Moreno graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and U.S. Army Ranger School, and served as an officer in the U.S. Army in Fort Hood, Texas, and Bagdad, Iraq, the release said. He is the co-chair of he HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division Veterans Colleague Network and a member of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division's Diversity and Inclusion Council.
