Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle hosts Cactus Jack’s Campfire on Saturday at the Tomball VFW Hall Post 2427. The community event is sponsored by The Committee to Support R. Jack Cagle Campaign and features dinner, music by the "I Back Jack Band" and children’s activities, such as stick horse races.
"Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle is proud to present his second annual Cactus Jack's Campfire event bringing the community together for a night of campfire fun," event Chair Taylor Sass said. "[Commissioner Cagle's] hope is for the entire community of Precinct 4 and some neighboring communities, like Montgomery County, to enjoy a night where everyone can come together, enjoy some barbecue and have fun."

Harris County Precinct 3 hosts its annual Hummingbird Festival on Saturday. The festival includes games, activities and nature walks for children and adults. The Magnolia Area Republican Women and Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley host a First Responder Appreciation Lunch commemorating first responders and their families living or serving in the Greater Magnolia area. The picnic features sliced brisket, beans, potato salad, and more provided and cooked by Commissioner Riley.
